Single Serving Peanut Butter Microwave Cake
This microwave cake is ideal for satisfying a sweet craving without making a whole batch. It comes together in minutes, offering a warm, moist peanut butter treat that's just for you. No need to heat up the oven or deal with extra dishes.
In a microwave-safe mug or ramekin, combine the raising flour, sugar, and baking powder. Whisk gently with a fork to mix thoroughly.
Add the milk, peanut butter, and vanilla syrup to the dry ingredients.
Stir well with the fork until all ingredients are combined and there are no dry spots. Be careful not to overmix, a few lumps are fine.
Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds. The cake should look set on top and spring back lightly when touched. Cooking times can vary based on your microwave wattage.
Carefully remove the mug from the microwave. Allow the cake to cool for a minute or two.
Dust with icing sugar before serving.
For an extra touch, you could drizzle a little maple syrup on top. If you don't have raising flour, you can substitute it with 3 tablespoons of plain flour mixed with an extra 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. Enjoy warm.
