Butter Crisp Chicken Burger with long fries
This recipe elevates a simple weeknight chicken burger into something special with the addition of pan-fried crispy chicken and sweet yellow peppers. Paired with classic frozen chips, it's a fuss-free meal that's sure to be a family favorite.

Preheat oven and cook frozen fries according to package instructions.
While chips are cooking, melt butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chicken burger patties to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
In the last few minutes of cooking the chicken, add the thinly sliced yellow pepper to the pan and sauté until slightly softened.
Lightly toast the burger buns.
Assemble the burgers: place a chicken patty on the bottom bun, top with sautéed yellow pepper, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of sauce. Cover with the top bun.
